wide converter on pocket camera

Sunday, August 5, 2012

sometime 28 mm is not enough, so photographer will buy an expensive wider lens. yes its expensive, the cheapest is more than US$400. so cheaper alternative is use a wide converter like picture below, with suffering bad vignette on dslr lens.
The fact is on pocket camera the lens cannot replaceable. so the only alternative is wide converter.
on my test there's no vignette at all on canon pocket lens
see the picture below.
the original lens

and after hold wide converter in front the lens. you will see everything wider

with wide converter. just hold in front of pocket lens. no need any modification. the wide converter is richarm just like the picture above.

to get more wider image, i dont use the macro part. just using the front lens of wide converter. its make wider but distorted, heyy i like the distoted images, wkwkwkwkwkwk

just see below pictures of my experiment result. hope you all like it.

Where you can see full-size pictures with the converter?
As it is attached to the camera and what the thread diameter?
