try to capture latent fingerprint  i use two camera , 1000d normal dslr with lens kit, and casio QVR300 on full spectrum mode ( no filter attached)
the prosess still need powdering and to gain the best images, i use glow in the dark powder a part of material use for printing on t shirt that can glow in the discothique under uv light, hehehe.  i bought it 7 years ago , its moist and litle bit cristalize but still can be use. unfortunately the color is pink, maybe if i use the green will be better,  but i just try with as available material.

here the result
first i try on my pocket knive, its made of  stainless steel, very easy to detect, but not easy to take the fingerprint picture because of shining effect   here the image

put under under my uv light tube.  You cant use internal flash here because it create shine on the knife

taken with 1000d normal

taken with casio full spectrum

the image is clearer
here is the zoom image

second test

my fuji camera box. its carton with printed an uv coating above it, make it shine too
with 1000d

with casio

third test, the hardest experiment

a gently touch my thumb on hvs paper, it porous , not a good idea

almost cannot captured

zoom it

and leave only red channel and rise the level
